Data capture time
Hello, Robbie here reporting in to Flaming Desks for the first time in my project management role.
As Rob is shouting his mouth off round town about flaming desks, we should, on the off chance that they pop along and visit this blog, capture their interest. So, Dave, could we maybe have a simple data capture form somewhere (near the top)? Very simple please, maybe just say ‘Pre-register now’ or something more interesting - Rob put your copywriting hat on. Then a simple form where they can fill in their name, email and choose from:
I’d use this to find a desk / I have a spare desk to list / I probably won’t use Flaming Desks, but tell me anyway once it’s up and running ’cause I’ll definately want to check it out and tell all my friends and aquaintences

In the interests of speed, I’ve installed two plugins : the poll to ask those questions, and the subscribe plugin to capture email addresses. Is this going to do, because building a registration form like the one you describe will take a bit too long…

Yep. That should do the trick Dave.

We used this form builder for a new website and although we’ve had a couple of problems with the CAPTCHA not loading it’s fairly nifty and tickles our 2.0 bits…
