Straw poll
So, not that we’re not 100% confident that this is an awesome idea, but we thought with your help we’d hold a slippery finger to the air and see which way the prevailing wind of public opinion is blowing.
Here’s the elevator pitch:
There are lots of people, particularly media types, who from time to time could do with a desk for a day in a city somewhere. There are lots of offices, small and large, with a spare desk sitting there empty. Flaming Desks sorts them both right out: you’ve got a spare desk, you list it, you need somewhere to sit, you request it.
What’s in it for the people with the desks? Well there are some associated benefits to letting a stranger share your office: networking for one. But why not just do it for the hell of it?
